Fran Curry and I were delighted to perform on what was a very special day out .A day when people who devote their lives to looking after loved ones seven days a week were made feel very welcome on the grounds of Hotel Minella.
Cars occupied by Clonmel carers and their loved ones, family and friends, lined up in front of an outdoor stage to be entertained.
They were the guests of the Nallen family and the staff of Hotel Minella who came up with the imaginative Crooning for Cocooners initiative.
The audience reacted to the music with much honking of horns and attempts to dance in the cars.

My New Album ' Muriel's World

Muriel O Connor is recognised by her peers and audiences alike as one of the great Irish entertainers. Her dynamic stage show is legendary.
Muriel is now is delighted to introduce you to her brand new album
‘Muriel’s World’.

The songs on the album are drawn from her live show and features her hit singles ‘Whatever You Say, Say Nothing’, Waltzing an Angel, Precious Years, Late Starters in Love and her biggest hit so far, ‘Something Blue’.
‘Something Blue’ has been one of the most played Irish songs on radio stations across the Country. The song is a duet with Muriel’s musical partner, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Fran Curry.
The album reflects the diversity of The Muriel O Connor Show with classic Irish songs such as Paddy and The Leaving of Liverpool. Fun songs like Five Minutes More and The Best Part of the Day along with all the recent singles. Also included is a wonderful interpretation of the thought provoking love song Ten Floors Up.
Producer, Fran Curry, put together an all-star band including Dave Keary of the Van Morrison band and Eoghan O Neil currently bass player with Celtic Woman and formerly of Moving Hearts and The Chris Rea band.
Welcome to ‘Muriel’s World’.
